Does it seem like your long wait for a baby is over?

I bet it'll be kinda difficult to find an English-speaking OB-Gyn. Your next option could be to bring an interpreter along with you and your wife.

Oh! Thanks for the interpretation. Would that be an obstetrical or gynaecological English speaking professional.
There are three ways you can deliver:
1) caesarean section - cut cut
2) episiotomy - cut cut again
3) in the back of a taxi - most natural

Generally speaking they want to slice the missus because it takes too fricken long otherwise.
Second, they make more money. (joking)
Third they can tie the tubes of a Chinese national without your consent.
You can deliver naturally if you insist but they will strongly advise against it to satisfy their own demands.
The father will not be permitted for the cut cut but can be present for natural birth in the taxi.

I have a friend who is a Chinese doctor here but he is down in Sichuan on relief work for several months.
Many medical staff do speak a little English.

This actually happened.
Going back a few years now, an Australian friend managed to find a doctor who would deliver naturally but was not keen on it.
However, when the waters and all hell broke loose, He delivered his son in the taxi on the way to the hospital.
Poor driver was a total mess.

Mother, son and father were all perfectly fine and cool about it.

The doctors were wanting to tie the tubes of his Chinese wife but he managed to prevent it due to the fact that he was Australian thus a minority group.
Minority groups are allowed to have more than 1 child.

If your baby is about to come, just call 120 and let her deliver right in the ambulance,

That might be good and as well historical for you,

I heard people born in cars, trains, buses and ambulances have special gifts, Grin Grin Grin

I dont blieve in myths but if you do try it out,

I wasn't aware that caesarean section deliveries were the most common. Why is this? I would think natural delivery would be the easiest in most cases. I know in the states, a caesarean section is usually only in cases where a natural birth is risky. Does health insurance cover a caesarean section?

Look at the bone structure of Chinese women's hips... the babies would be taller but thinner...  Grin
